It was cancelled the last couple of years due to Katrina. We will be doing some journaling, and staying at luxurious lodging on a couple of plantations, with daily half-day tours, including: a "ghost tour", a day tour of New Orleans, and other unique sights. Free time is included for you to do antique shopping in this historically rich area. We will also be visiting the reconstruction area, and doing a ceremony to bring more "love from the heart" to the recovering area. Please let us know if you are interested in this workshop; and we will keep you informed.
SOUTHWEST ARCHITECTURE This workshop is tentatively scheduled for one week next spring, depending on the demand.
Our tour centers around the delightfully hot spot of Phoenix, Arizona. You will find numerous spectacular examples of southwest architecture and art in this area, and you are guaranteed a sunny sky! (during the bleak winter days found elsewhere). The (light) journaling on this trip will involve some "visual" journaling and analysis. Frank Lloyd Wright's name is all over the area, including the Biltmore hotel (Phoenix), and the acoustically perfect hall that was designed by him, Gammage, where you will enjoy a live performance. Enjoy the contemporary Historical Museum, the Botanical Gardens (with 50,000 desert plants), early "architecture" by the prehistoric Hohokam Indians. With many evening venues to frolic in like the Rawhide Western Town or the Waterfront park, and a surprising IKEA Restaurant, with, yes, Swedish cruisine. We will be staying at the quaint Twin Palms, a renovated B&B style hotel, with noteworthy architecture of its own. Of course, the highlight of the trip will be Taliesin West; with private behind the scene tours . Wright had an east and a west workshop, and Taliesin West was the western one, open in the winter months, as well as his winter home. Today the School of Architecture is still open, and the facility is used as the headquarters of the Wright Foundation. Please write us if you are interested in this trip.

GHOSTS OF COLORADO This workshop is tentatively scheduled for October, depending on the demand.
We will stay at the historic 1910 Stanley Hotel in Estes Park. This includes a Guided Tour of the ghosts of the Stanley Hotel, and a Dinner Theater night in Gold Hill, with stories about the gold miners who haunt the area. Hear Helen Hunt Jackson's life re-enactment about her fight for Indian rights and for minors. More details to come. Please write us if you are interested in this trip.
"FINDING YOUR MISSION IN LIFE" This workshop is tentatively scheduled for two sessions this year, depending on the demand; one week long.
You will be writing and doing minor arts and crafts, which are specially designed to help you uncover who you really are, and what you have always been destined to do. The first half of each day, you will go on a guided tour. (Occasionally it will be an evening performance instead). In the afternoon, you will have time to sight-see on your own. In some cases, you will be close enough to walk to venues, while others you will be bused to.

Two meals each day will be taken together, in order to share the experience. Cost will be fixed rates, paid by you at meal time. One special meal at the beginning and end of the trip is included in the cost. The emphasis is on group participation and enjoyment, with hopes of gaining life-long friends.

You will also enjoy the endless sunshine and deep-blue skies, breathing in fresh air, and enjoying regional foods. Your guide is friendly and knowledgeable and has conducted trips for 11 years. There will be an option offered to "group rent" a mini-van for ease of transportation, which will include pick up and drop off at airport.

Instructor.
Taught by Kathleen Spring, Holistic Health Professional, and published author and journalist.
